Mini Photo Shoot

I had this idea to do this photo shoot for a long time.

I wanted to bring an old world feel to these images.  It's a miracle that any of them turned out as Ebony finds it almost impossible to stay still for more than a second. Not to mention that her brother was running around in the background like a Bush Turkey.

We had gone for a bike ride and at the last minute before leaving home I threw a bunch of clothes in the back of the car along with my camera and hoped that we might find a few minutes to set this up. . I'm hoping to do this again with more time......

I am pretty happy with these ones though.

Thank you Ebony for the 5 minutes of still you manages to muster....

Backyard sprinkler...

Yummy Summer Time!

Boxing Day with the cousins

and heaps of water...

We collected an arsenal of water powered weapons and when the guns broke we dished out the cups. The kids had so much fun. You can't beat a sprinkler in the back yard....

New Road for my old Photos......

I am working on a new plan for my photography. I don't want my images to always be the same as everyone else so I'm going outside the box. If I get a good response I'd like to sell them at the markets over Christmas.

What do you all think???

Wentworth Falls

A few weeks ago just before Pierre got stuck back into study, we had a little weekend away at Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains. We stayed at a place called Silvermere in their Coachmans Cottage. Just Devine.....

I think this is a Saffron Flower

Lightsaber Wars in the garden

Time for a soak in the tub...

We went for a walk into Wentworth Falls
and I fell in love with is garage door

Of course we went to the Three Sister the kids really found this fantastic.
Bailey got busted (by us) for spitting over the rail.... Is this a right of passage?

Jenolan Caves

We were going to stay here and I'm really glad we didn't. Apparently it is one of the most haunted places in Australia.
The Caves however were beautiful. Again the kids really loved the Cave tour, we thought they might have been scared in the dark but they loved it. Even when the lights went out by accident and we were left in the dark for 5 minutes.

When the tour came to an end, our guide said we should go down to the lake and look for the platapus. (I thought "as if we'll see a platapus") After 5 minutes Ebony calls out "there it is!"
